A front Losi diff will drop directly into the front gearbox of the Durango.

The rear Losi diff will not, naturally, since the rear drive pinion is on the opposite side than that of the Durango. However, a front Losi diff should (though I haven't tried) drop directly into the rear Durango gearbox.

The center Losi diff will not fit properly (it is a few mm shorter) into the center diff mount of the Durango. Even if you build the Losi diff using the Durango outdrives, it still doesn't fit well. It will have a few mm of front-to-back play in it.

I too have a lot of spare parts for my Losi buggy. Since the weather outside is not permitting the Durango to play in the dirt, I may as well have some fun trying to see which parts are interchangable.

Having so many spare Losi parts as well as a Losi starter box (which will only work with Losi chassis), represents a pretty big investment that made me really resist trying other brands. I'm so glad I decided to give Durango a try. The design of the DNX408, with the main components so central and low on the narrow chassis, I believe will give it a distinct advantage over other buggies. I have my Losi pretty dialed setupwise and initially, I expect to be playing catch up a bit with the Durango. But once I get a setup that suits me I fully expect that I'll be faster with it.

hey guys,

*double thumbs up* for Team Durango :

greatest service & contact i ever had !!
i contacted TD via email because i had 3 down sides of the diff case & only 1 upside instead of 2 pairs in my kit.
4 days later i received a complete diff case !

this car is the most forward thinkinŽdesign on the market for sure.

regards & thanks,

guido

Do you have the conversion? I have a car waiting for the conversion. The cf one looks cool.

I would honestly be curious to try the Dual pack set-up they are planning on. After driving a Losi conversion with big 4S packs, Id like to try it.
