Default Hello friends

Hello, I am a new member of the forum and greet you all, I apologize for my English but use a translator because I am and I live in Italy, I like you I have a durango 408, beautiful and beloved in some detail that I do not like But what is small. I made a small change to remove the screws on the plate instead of the radio picture I hope will be useful for you, I apologize for my writing I hope to improve.

Very nice Cotin. How did you anchor the nubs that the pins go through?

Quoted from Buggies.it

At only 14 years old, Kyle McBride finished fourth in the 2010 1/8 off-road Worlds in Thailand. Kyle’s talent and ability is obvious, and awesome. He, and his dad Scott, make a formidable team, which is why we wanted them to be part of Team Durango.

Although Kyle is only at the start of his RC racing career, we believe that he will continue to improve and be one of the very best racers RC off-road has ever seen. We are very happy that he has decided to join us for the 2011 season.

Scott sent us a few words about Kyle’s first run with the DNX408:

“We hit the track for the first time last Saturday with the new Team Durango DNX 408, and all I can say is WOW! Out-of-the box this car is the best car Kyle has ever driven!
We put the Durango through its paces over the course of a 4 hour test session, and the car was faultless. I made two minor changes, “that’s it” over a 4 hour test session – unbelievable. There were a lot of jaws dropping once they realized who was driving this insanely quick DNX408. Kyle was totally over the moon with his new car and can’t wait for the season to start.”
– Scott McBride

Can you put a 34mm flywheel on the 408? I want to use a 4 shoe clutch.

Hi, thank you love, now I'll explain. You must use the same screws longer than 3mm measure the length you like and go in the plastic screw on the chassis side, then the distance from the head of a 1.5 mm tip with a hole of 1.1 mm and a grinding head consumption it will go well between holes, so you have to use the tool of 2 mm, I hope you understand my English not good, I hope good.

Talking Nice

I managed to get my hands on 2 of these cars and have finished putting one
together.........yummy!
Can't wait to race it, been driving it round on bitumen
just to give the driveline a run in and check over and the only prob i got was a clicking from the rear centre drive shaft, i think there might be some crap in the cvd joint restricting a bit of movement, I wasn't able to get much angle on the shaft when i put it in the car, anyone else have this?

Also this may have been covered already but what are TD diff and shock oil ratings like compaired to mugen oils?

Great article Hookem. Have you got your 408 yet? I'm in SA and grabbed one from RCHQ. I'm really liking the way it handles - not as twitchy as the MP9 I've been driving the last year or so. It seems to eat up the holes and ruts in the track with no problem.
