Beautiful lookin rigs guys!!!
Maybe one of you guys can help me dial in my tune:
I ran the Radical beast for the first time today after it's break in period. Maybe you can help me here, i got the tune almost dialed. Maybe because its still new, but sometimes through the run, it wants to hang a bit high for a few seconds after the straight away, then it will come down. I don't want any hanging at all and I want it to idle down as fast as possible to a steady idle, as how it is now, it kind of slowly decreases and takes its sweet time getting back down to its low idle point. It's not too far off from dialed tho. I also need a crisper faster bottom end. But when I get to that point it seems to just be too lean, and I have to turn the idle down quite a bit, then I think I had to richen the top a little at that point to compensate. It's kind of a pain in the ass to be honest! lol I know the lsn is for slow rpm and idle speed relating to each other and the hsn is for mid to top, but in the field those areas can get a little grey.

Check for any binding in your throttle linkage and make sure you are running a throttle return spring of some sort. I had a similar issue where the throttle would not return all the way back to neutral.

Engines take about a gallon to break in completely. Until you have a gallon on the engine the tune is going to continue to change. Also engine tuning has nothing to do with the DNX408, so please post engine tuning questions in the nitro engine forum in the thread for the engine you have.

Stock for now, but I will be running a Buku as soon as my current set of shoes are done, which should be about another 1/2 gallon. I want to get the bonded composite shoes so a new clutch bell is in order too, as a clutch bell that has already had aluminum shoes used with it will contaminate the composite shoes. I am gonna go with the SWorks clutch bells. They look like they should work, they are way less expensive, and amain has them in stock in a couple different sizes. I also want to switch to a 14 tooth, as my new home track is larger than my previous home track.

Think of me more as a vigilante. If everyone just posted whatever, wherever, it would be chaos. If everyone policed themselves, then there would not be the "thread police" accusations. Not to mention it will only help you solve your problem more easily. There are not that many people that frequent this thread, so odds are not many people will have the opportunity to answer you. Post your question where it belongs and more people that might be able to help you will see it and hopefully answer.

I run the Buku clutch and even though it was quite an investment, I have been extremely happy with it! The ease of adjusting the clutch, plus the very low wear rate has made me a very happy Buku customer!!! I have at least 4 full race weekends on the clutch and the shoes still look like brand new!!! Well worth the money!

I ran the ascendancy clutch this last weekend at the pro series in omaha and it was dialed ...its also nice because you can run the stock durango clutch bells with it and the shoes apparently last for a long time with little wear
check them out they are really good
