Front cvd's, rear center driveshaft, wing mount. I do not recall having any other problems. I only had the latter two failures but others are talking about the front cvd's. Unlike the durango 1/10 scale cars, this one is built like a tank.

Just built a fresh out of the box Team Durango DNX408 kit. Having one small qlitch in getting it running. What battery is everyone using for the transmitter/receiver box that is installed under the rear drive shaft??? Also what bump box is everyone using??? I picked up a Blue OFNA dual motor. Is that the best for this???

Big thing is the Battery tho. Non of my battery packs will fit.

I use this rx pack:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVTE9

There is a small number of LiFe packs that will fit too, but I will have to look up which ones exactly.

As far as the starter box: pretty much any universal starter box should work, just take your time setting it up right. This is done the best/easiest with the engine removed. It took me a few tries, but I could my Duratrax starter box (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMPP5&P=ML) working great now.

I'm using the white/red fronts and white/blue rears on a smooth medium grip and they're great.

I want to be sure to understand (sorry I'm french ). So you use white springs everywhere or red in the front and blue in the rear, right?

I found a weird thing, Ryan Lutz said

"The kit supplied Blue ones are actually stiffer than any of the option kit springs that they currently offer."

So does that mean there are two different types of blue springs for the DNX408?

Nope, referring to the white series of springs.

LOL. Well don't forget about the silver series of springs!

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...E=X&psearch=Go

The white series has a linear compression rate while the silver series is more progressive. I have a set of the silvers too, silver/green front and silver/grey rear. I have yet to test them but as soon as I get me can running again I plan on running the whites and silvers back to back.

Finished up my Bulldog body today. Overal pretty happy with the fit.

iPhone photos saturate the colors somewhat.
