How do the plastics on the Durango compare to the Xray or Mugen? I am thinking about getting one of these just because how nice it looks lol, but I wanna see how sloppy it gets after a few tanks.

at this point i think you would have to see how the DEX410 guys find it next to the other 10th scales, im sure they use the same plastic.

The question of whether or not I have to grind the rear chassis brace has already been answered.
So does the battery box really have to be disassembled to remove the battery?
Also it would appear that the shock shafts are losi style in which the pistons are held down with screws vs a thrd shaft and a nut.

The servos sit on an alum plate that mounts to the chassis. The servos are spaced up ao there is plenty of room between the servos and chassis. It's a cool design. 3 screws and the battery box lid comes off and then the battery slides right out. The shock piston is secures with a screw

Is it just me, or does anyone else have problems getting the back end ride height below 35mm? The stock blue springs seem so stiff that even with no pre-load, the car has its back end in the air.

Is your car brand new ?
Mine was the same until it had its first run and bedded in, it went out at 34mm and 1/2 way thru practise it was dragging itself along the floor !
Your right on the kit springs they are super stiff ! Mine is on Losi springs now as i gave up waiting for TD ones to come into stock !

Happy holidays.
Hi Frank, its designed for the servo wire to be tie wrapped to the underside of the PT holder to keep it away from brakes and spur gear.

You should hold your springs in hand and keep them compressed fof a little while they will settle after that.
