This is not an MP9 thread buddy.

Awesome is that your online shop address in your signature? ill check it out if you got stuff in stock ill be ordering. i would suggest you get your hand on all the V2 stuff you can. IE radio tray, fuel tank, exaust cooler. and so on.

I'm in Canada -- because of double-duties I would suggest that you continue to support your LHS or shops like a-main etc.

I am really just trying to get the correct stock in so that I don't leave the racers in my neck of the woods hanging.

Unless they make a TKi777 that includes a Tebo, its the same POS as everything else. Go troll out your shop's customers.

I'm not really sure if anything is wrong, but the buggy i just finished putting together just doesn't "feel" right. Are the diffs supposed to feel very stiff when this kit is new? Right now when i put the buggy on the ground i can't just throw it and have it keep coasting, it goes for about 6" before it stops, maybe less. I have to push it and almost hold it down or the tires will slide on the ground. Did i maybe do womething wrong or are tight diffs common? Or should i be looking somewhere else maybe because i'm sure i put it all together correctly according to the manual

thanks for the help guys!

One thing to check is if you put the inserts in the diff the right way around, the flat side faces inwards.

Sounds like the axles may be too tight. The manual shows to put 2 of 10x16x0.1mm shims on the inside of the axle. Try removing one of the 10x16x0.1 shims from the inside if the axle. The axle should rotate freely in the hub carrier.

There should be very little resistance of any of the rotating components.

Also i would check the shims out at the hubs. I know the Manual says to put one small shim between hex and the hux. and two bigger between the hub and wheel axle.
I found out that only with the small shim between the hex and hub worked otherwise it was binding in the drivetrain.
I guess this is something people shim when the car have drive a while when it start to get loose?

Also check if you use any shims between your diff and the diff case, you don't need any in a brand new car.
When new the diffs need a liitle break in to come fully smoth but not as hard as you posted.
Hope it helps, enjoy your car.

Anyone have some info about the new springs? I saw at ryans setup that he used a "new" silver/black spring
Anyone know if there is coming up a whole new line with springs that will replace the old ones, or just a few pairs of new springs? also what have they made different about this 2 color springs than the stock ones?

The new springs will be complementary to the current 'black' set. Personally I never thought I would run the black springs again. But at Neo I ended up running the absolute softest one black/black on the rear of my buggy.
The new sets are stiffer and more progressive than the 'black' set. Not sure off hand how many there will be. I would say as many as 4 in a silver set and as many as 8 in a white set. We will see soon!
