I'm just finishing my build and the only thing I had missing was one of the plastic bushings that goes between the o-rings in the shock. Other than that extremly high quaility, very imprest! Now what motors and pipes are most running, I to stick a motor in and I tried an re10 losi and it was to long and hung out past the plastic and the werks 2057 was to wide?

Ive been running GO engines and pipes. When I had my rear brace in I dremeled the front tab off of rear brace. Right now I don't run a rear brace at all.

Default Center Diff?

How much play should be in durango center diff fore and aft? Seems like mine has about 1mm play in it? I kept hearing a "crunching" noise coming from the buggy this weekend and was having trouble diagnosing its origin. I had another racer look it over and he seemed to think the center diff bearings were shot. I pulled diff and rebuilt it and all seemed well. The spur was pretty "shark toothed" so I changed it and my bell.

I have an early kit and had that happen to me. I found that the yellow engine mount washers under chassis were sticking out a little. Once I smoothed them over with dremel, I never experienced it again. I run a tight gear mesh.

What does this have to do with the shimming of the center diff?

nothing at all.
He said his spur was wasted along with cb. It happened to me and found the washers protruding and hitting ground, pipes, etc that made engine move, wasting gear mesh.

Even though my washers are grinded down I dont think this is the cause of the "shark tooth" effect and may have to do with the correct gear mesh. IMO gear mesh thats too loose is whats causing this.

It's all good.
That's the only time it happened to me. Like I said I run a tight gear mesh.

A tight gear mesh may be the answer I shimmed my center diff so the front to back play was gone. Im just waiting for my new GO motor to show up so I can race again, ordered on monday and its still not here
