So what's up with the excessive amount of shims the manual tells you to use on the Drive axle's ?

First of all you dont need all 3 and the Larger inner's are too large on the I.D ? Am i missing something ?

The shimms are optional and should be used if you have play (due to differences in bb dimensions etc.)

It would have been JQ and not durango until I saw that front driveline issue. The JQ was paid and on the truck but it went back. I will wait and see on the JQ. I have had that issue on other cars and it is a huge P in the A.

I appreciate all of the feedback guys. I think I am gonna put a new horse in my stable. Please keep posting about your experiences about driving this buggy and what you like about it and dislikes if there are any.

Thanks - Ryan

I just put one together and it weighed 3370g RTR. The body was not painted though.

I think with a few light weight parts like turnbuckles, shock standoffs and screws it would be in the 3270 range. I believe a stock losi weighs about 3480g.

The shim thing is an extremely minor issue.
