As for seeing a bunch of 408's in the for sale section, its probably no more than normal. Look at how many people bought JQ, Agama, Serpent and had them for a while and sold them. You guy's are only noticing now because its the Durango going thru its phase. People try it and id don't fit them, so they move on to something else. No big deal really.

Of coarse the Durango drives good for Lutz! He's a pro, its what he does. I was fortunate to meet him at the Area 54 race and he's a hell of a nice guy, and a pretty good turn marshall to boot!

Many of the people here laughed and pointed when the Serpent was blowing throttle servos, and the JQ car was having plastic issues with the cold weather. Those companies had to go back to the boards and fix some issues.
And they came back strong. No doubt Team Durango will do the same.
Agreed, happens to all brands.

Personally, i'm really happy with the car although i'm running it converted to brushless so i don't get most of the biggest issues people are complaining about.
Sure, it needs some improvements and fixes, but you can tell the team is working hard to make it better and the car has the potential to be on the top. Just needs some patience.

Looks like a shot of the new tank here:

Also looks like Lutz is trying the shocks on the rear of the tower now as well.

Cool photo! ;-)
Someone needs to clean that aircleaner though!

Yes, that is the most current revision of the tank that we are working to perfect. I really do hope it comes out soon for everyone.

Yes, yesterday was my first time trying the shocks on the rear of the arm. I didn't do it back to back and I ran it at Revelations which I haven't raced at in 2 years. It felt solid though so I am pretty sure I will continue to run it throughout the nats as the rest of the team is doing the same.

Ryan thanks for the update on the rear shocks do you have to change springs for this mod up/down to current setup.

I know a lot of people have issues but this KIT ROCKS every kit has issues period but the 408 handles very well its very nimble and it turns like no other. Im sure TD will have revisions on parts etc but getting the ball moving is important that way it will extinguish most drama.

At this time I haven't done anything different to the shocks from moving them to the rear of the arms.

I can assure everyone behind the scenes this company is working harder than any I have ever been apart of before. This kit is going to be a contender for a long time to come. I'm very happy to be a part of this company and just can't wait until the customer can enjoy all the great things Durango has in store!
Patience is just so hard!!!!

Yup all this drama honestly Ive own pretty much every kit out there never had one that was perfect but TD came out with a complete new design not a copy cat that says a TON about a company and their potential.

Look at all the reviews from all the magazines all excellent ratings in all categories these guys test and run kits for a living.

Yes the durango takes tuning but its a drivers car period very responsive and hangs with the best more then others for sure.
