Reno put on a great show during the B-main; just have a look at the lap times : http://www.liverc.com/view_result_fi...8B_Main%29.xml

Pretty fast and consistent, considering the rough track !

Seems that the start of the A-main had been quite difficult for him.
He got back to 5th before he had that 67 sec laptime.

On a side note it's seems that the lapcouting software is bugged for the best lap information : sometimes the opening lap is not supressed although it should be, thus this information is broken (for ex: G. Degani in the B-main).

This front-front hinge pin hanger is a running change in the kits - so newer DNX408's will come with the slightly thicker front pin brace.

Will the replacement parts be revised? The parts I ordered last week seem to be the thinner ones but I didn't get them. I'll go back to lhs and check again.

Yay, a Lunsford kit. I almost bought the buckles seperately this week, but decided not to. Looks like I made the right choice. I'll wait until the kit is available in stores.

I have both the 811 and 408. Right now nothing matches my 811 as far as being stable, turning and lap times. It is a full second faster then my losi 2.0 and mbx6 were. I am tinkering with lots of settings on the 408 now and seeing what changes will get mu times down. So far I have changed a good bit and the car is feeling real good. This weekend I'll have both cars on the clock. See what they will do pitted against each other with the changes.

If you want to just buy a few springs I would getthe softer springs. Prob orange and grey.

Correct I went down 1 softer in thr front then went to a losi green in the rear. Also drilled the 1.3 pistons to a larger bore. The suspension on this car is what is killing it. Response is a little to slow. Went to a larger piston holes and wow what a difference.

The spares for the front-front hinge pin brace has only ever been the thicker revised part.

Right now, the shocks were drilled to 1.5mm also swapped to 5, 5, 2 diff oils. Next is swaybars......they are to stiff. The track is hard packed with loam on the side.

What sizes are the holes in the shock piston that comes with the kit?

And the anti roll bar tuning set for the 408, what are the sizes for front and rear?
