Default Radio tray

A few pages back someone posted they may try putting some orings between tray and chassis. If servos are mounted to plastic braces, isn't that as much flex as any other buggy? To possibly prevent servo binding.

I read putting washers in the steering rack plate takes the play out? Hows that working out? Going to try to do mine soon.

A pic would be cool also..

the little black thing is an exhaust manifold support, it stops the header getting pushed down onto the battery box if you get hit hard, it also helps keep the pipe and header lined up better.

I'm using reedy 1600 nimh, and I went to Durango website and filter parts by model;dnx408, and started writing down part numbers for lhs to order for me. Start with manifold support, hinge pin retainers, bumber you can get with some wing parts, front and rear sway bar sets, spring sets are a good buy, gold beveled washers, different blocks and hubs, hinge pins etc. It's easy for me to go overboard. But the parts are cheap and I like having an extra car in parts!

Not me.the chassis and design is what I love about this buggy. I was having flex issues with last buggy but not with this chassis.

Default issue with the stock 13t clutch bell

So after running the Durango for about a month and a half, I've already gone through more than half a dozen sets of clutch bearings, the last one being Acers (ouch), and a few clutch bells in the process.

I've always noticed that getting the recommended size bearings in was a bit tighter than with other bells, but never thought it was much of an issue until this afternoon when i looked down into the inside bearing i had just placed, which looked to me and my mechanic as if the new bearing i had just put in was ever-so-slightly off-center.

Has anyone had an issue with clutch bearing consumption?
