To answer you Xchange, no I don't use Ryan's system. I use the stock one with the plastic ball. I feel it very good, and more reliable than the fuel tube (I think the fuel tube can break after a while). For me, having some play (back and forward) on the shock is a good thing the improve the behavior of the car in the bumps. My car is actually "out of the box", and that's the way I'm having fun with it!

Thanks, do you think is a good idea to replace the plastic balls by the alu one from the bottom shock ?

Another question about brake disc, do you run the losi one ?
And in finish, how much gal do you need to completly brake-in the car ?

Thanks

Google trans for French to english...Nothing to hide!
I think changing the plastic to the steel one is not a good idea. You will destroy the alloy of the caps pretty fast. You could try but in my opinion it's not a really good idea.
About the brake disc, I use the stock one. I put 2 washers behind the screw head to make it tighter, so there is no "dead zone" in the brake.
This week end, I pull away the fuel tube on the brake link in order to make it more consistent and to get a better response, and it's much better (for my driving style).
I will poste pictures of my car as soon as possible.

Cool, and about the brake-in period? 1 gal is enough?

Yeah I think 1gal is more than enough. As everything is already very smooth on the car from kit, you should have everything set after an hour.
Run 2 hours, clean the diffs and shocks, and you are all set!

Thank you, Reno, if you come to the dirt nitro challenge in AZ i will come to see your car!

More general, i notice that a lot of cars have a slot for the spur gear and then, put the weight down, there is a reason why not on the durango ?

I am using the ofna blue truggy box. You have to slide the wheel over to the center and then it fits perfectly.
