Default crcrc

just came back from an awesome weekend at crcrc!! the car ran flawlessly, spoke with ryan and did some changes like 1.3 shock pistons in rear with gray springs and bam!! the car was finally dialed was battling for 3rd sitting pretty in 4th for sportsman b main till i ran out of gas, oops then could not get my alpha fired again (think i fouled my plug) with only four min left i just hung up my handle. team durango big ups for the wicked buggy and they are lucky to have Ryan as a driver he's a stand up guy! finished 1st in c main with my mbx-6t truggy, and bumped up to B main and finished 3rd, took a 1st place plak home!! @ TD any word on a release date for truggy? crcrc is a fast and technical track and dnx408 is a bad ass buggy, and handled it with ez!!

Default Lutz finish's 8th at crcrc with only three shocks!!

utz drives his buggy to the finish line with only 3 shocks and over 15 mins to go.
i have to say that i am impressed with this guy(and the dnx408) more so then many of the bigger names in the 1/8 class buggy. i have not been around long but to drive for over 15 min with three shocks and not only finish but to pass drivers can't be easy.way to go lutz. now durango just needs move foward with the truggy so you can really kick some ass.

it would def be nice to have some more info or a launch date for the truggy.

Was watching the race and i have to say great job Lutz!!! Made his way from 7th up to 3rd till something happen (flame? not sure yet) Then to continue on with a broken shock is a true racer and a manufactures dream to have a rep that will go the distance and not give up. How many would have just pulled off??? I would have till now. Great job!!

Will Lutz' setup from the CRCRC race be available any time soon? I've found setups from CRCRC work pretty well at my local track with some tire changes.

He already posted his set-up for the OH rc factory on his web-site lutzinator.com.

Tuning from a The-Car driver for his Durango club friends

Ive milled this two parts today, it should improve the flex of the plastic one.

I wonder if flex is not a a good thing in this place, since you might be hit by another car.

im having trouble seeing an advantage of what you did there, i can get my battery in an out very quickly with no mod to the box at all.is it worth doin all that over 4 screws? i use a 25$ life that needs no reg and i def prefer to have a switch.

i switched out the jammin pipe for the proper os 2060. idk i havent run it but the quality of the jammin pipe is alot nicer than this way more expensive one. ive noticed in the build pics that have been posted all around how everyone uses high end stuff with these bugs, as opposed to like a 8 with a picco in it with some traxxas servos, has anyone elese noticed that it seems like these buggys fall into the hands of people that have a clue. lol. just my observation. and i made my trusty body clip pulls! and switched the stock spring for that from a bic! good trick.

For those using the Dynamite DM Universal box...

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...al-Starter-Box

What modifications did you have to make to get it to work with your 408? I spent a few frustrating hours this afternoon trying to get this box setup to work but in the end could not. The starter wheel on mine isn't perfectly flat and "wobbles" slightly when spinning. The net effect is that it rubs so much on the sides of the flywheel slot in the chassis that it cannot turn the engine over.

Lutz is a great guy and an amazing driver. I've never seen a guy drive a broken car like that, it was spectacular to see. That "other" Durango guy may be a good driver but is also a real prick and a dirty driver. Funniest thing ever to see him as the BQ
