Default Hyper 9 Version A

Is this buggy worth picking up if I can get it for half the price of a brand new Hyper 9 V2.0? The buggy is still in its box, never been used, parts bags all unopened. I know they had some issues with the first Hyper 9, were these sorted for the Version A? Am I correct in thinking that the Version A which is the outside USA version, came after the initial Hyper 9?

I know there is also a B version which had a few changes, but am thinking if I can the A at a bargain price, I can pick up a few upgrades and still have a bargain buggy. Did the A version have the issue with the engines not being able to mount due to clashing with the chassis becasue of the angle the motors sit at?

Anyone got some help they can pass on?

The biggest problem with the first run A version was the weak chassis and front arms. The chassis bends after a few races. I would go with the freshest 2.0 you can get, nitro house or amain moves them pretty fast.
