8b cf chassi?
Hey guys, where in the world can I buy a carbon fiber chassi for the Liau 8b? I tried matrix but I can't get on the website, are there any others? Any help would be helpful and appreciated.

I believe a company called Mastrix Concepts makes one.

They seem to be out of business. They produced a molded carbon fiber chassis (with aluminum bracing/core) for the 8ight 1.0 several years ago. It was VERY cool looking and VERY expensive.
I know they made 8ight 2.0 prototypes, but I haven't heard anything from them in over a year -- and the website being down is not promising.
Best best is probably to find a hobby shop that has one still hanging on the wall and make them an offer.

Wish I could, more than likely have to go with that tuned flex chassi that losi recently put out, other than that, I don't know where to find one

I am sure Wes Brown could make one for you and to any specs you wanted. He is the owner of Out Front Frames.

I talked to my buddy which is a gun smith(builds colts and ar's) and he said he could fabricate me one if I brought him the cb and a regular losi chassi, said he could do it in a week with no problem

Robert @ matrix has had a rough couple year's with Family health issues and Business issues........I haven't talked to him in about 6 month's or so. But when I did he was mentioning Moving his shop from Cali to Colorado. RC is NOT his Main business, Its a Side thing and I can understand his frustration trying to deal with all the Na Sayers.
As far as making a chassis in a week. Sure it could be done. But when Robert had 3+ year's of R&D into his gear. There's really NO One that could touch him as far as quality and fit and finish.
Give him a little more time and im sure the website will be back up and running and the Production run's will start again.
