new losi???
#22
I would like to see a update to the radio tray/linkage as well. Maybe a new center diff mount soo the carb can be run at a better angle like the new metal diff mount. I mean we could all go buy the $50.00 mount but the plastic one is good. If they updated it a little it would be a huge help.
Metal inserts for the rear diff as stock items would be nice. The best update would be a servo saver that didn't loosen off Maybe a secound locking ring? grub scew? I don't know but nneeds something.
As already said the losi doesn''t need much just some small running updates to the kit would be nice.
Oh ya and improved front/center cvd, that things wears way to fast

New losi ! I don't think so !
The car is still freakin fast............driven HPI, Kyosho and Mugen.........Losi is the best car in my opinion.
I didn't have much issue with the radio tray or etc..............maybe I get the EPA right all the time or I am just lucky all this while. I know what's the problem most had............and be very careful with it that's all.
Zero issue with all the parts either.
In term of quality and performance, losi is the best among what I have try and driven. Providing you like how it handles..........
But the screws - inch ............I would think it would be good to have it in metric.............the inch size screw tend to unscrew itself cause the thread too wide apart. Anything in metric would hold the metal and plastics parts better.
A more user friendly car like EU would be good.
However I didn't like it and still prefer the 2.0...........and didn't think Losi 2.0 need a new car................just more consideration and convince new comers especially the screws.........that put many off cause it is in inches.

Yeah same here but i wouldnt mind runnin one again if i didnt have to exspect a servo to fry once every 4 races or so but hey nice to see there making improvements, a lil late but better then never. Even as is its the top selling buggy and it wouldnt change if they left it the way it is lol so atleast its nice to see they are working to impress the customer.
which servo tends to fry alot on the losi ?
steering or throttle ?
thks

ALL of them if you dont set the EPA right.
Just finished my second season on this chassis. I have be running that same parts all year. Hitec 7550 servos have been awesome for the last 2 seasons.
No servo issues
No Radio Tray Issues
No linkage issues
The only parts I replaced 2wice this year was the ball ends. $5 bucks
Losi is a great car, still at the top of the class. Next year we will see a 3 year old chassis competing against all the new manufactures.

This flat out is not true. You can be a great driver, but if your car is a pile oh pooh it wont help. Setup and Tires are the biggest thing to get right flat out. But cars like the Losi, and Mugen are flat out faster. The AE cars only seem to be fast if you first name is Ryan. The Kyosho, will i don't know. I cant afford to drop a grand on a chassis to find out either.
