I had a rear diff alignment issue where I had to take one shim from behind the bearing on the ring gear side OUT, to get the diff to spin freely. That diff was TIGHT! Took me a year to figure out how to shim properly.

oh, the conversion? Still working on it. The 50T spur isn’t aligned perfectly due to how they manufacture the chassis (thanks J. Whiting for explanation), and you need to modify the two rear diff mount holes. I’ll be doing that later tonight.

There’s also an issue with the carburetor hitting the edge of the center diff cover. I cut a little bit of it off to fit the Novarossi carb. Such a weird issue. The carb also sits at a strong angle unlike the 811. I’m using the 3 piece engine mount and 50T spur. It’s certainly a big project!

I thought this conversion was only done for radio tray convenience... but the performance is just absolutely spot on. The truck turns on an absolute dime. It's insane.

Use the SRX8 steering trackrod for the SRX8 conversion. I used the stock truggy trackrod and it ripped right out during practice. I can’t believe how much the weight forward chassis makes this truggy a podium truck.

been a long time coming, as has Losi, and Tekno! All the focus is on 1/8 buggy, as it should be. Even though I think truggy is better. I donít race on a track. Just for running around my property, ď bashing ď, truggys are better. I wish truggy would take over 1/8 racing. I guess it wonít. Not sure why, seems to me 1/8 truggy and buggy are the same. Only I feel truggy should be better because it has more suspension Travel. What do I know lol!

Truggy is my favorite too but it's been dying in a lot of places for a while.

It's usually bad enough that they'll combine electric and nitro truggy at a club race.

Yes, it must remain a secret until AFTER the SRX-2 is announced.

Latest ETA I've heard is by end of the year... That means May-August 2020 in "Serpent Time."

Well, I would imagine that itís ďall hands on deckĒ for the next two World Titles of interest to them - The 1/8th On-Road ICís and 1/8th GT ICís... After they take care of business at the ROAR Nats this weekend, of course.

Truck is in production currently. (from a Serpent Manager that I spoke with during the weekend) Now if it is true or not, I do not know. But I doubt that person was BS'ing

I just wish Serpent would post a teaser or something for it rather than having customers leave to other companies because of getting tired of waiting.
