IMO its POINTLESS because if you notice after a race your tire is normally packed with dirt/mud in areas. I dont think it matters, just another thing someone will buy.

for truggy it VERY important IMO, def with open cell foams, closed cell foam is usually pretty balanced, but balancing helps a ton... for buggy, its not as much of a deal because they are usually pretty close to balanced.

i agree, when proline was the big company and thats what most people ran this is where the balancing was important, now most tires are pretty well balanced,

You have never ran truggy tires that are almost all out of balance. Balancing is very important. Look at all the top drivers they do it for a reason. Example I run balanced when revving on the box my truck it very smooth, my buddy un balanced his truck is crazy dancing. Some tire's dont need as much i have a set of aka's and they are pretty damn balanced. Some LPR pro lines a whole lot of balacing needed.

i agree with you that they always need to be ballanced though, its hard to control in the air if you dont.

i had a set that i used almost a whole stick of clay and it still isnt balanced, went in the trash they were premounts that someone gave, i guess i know why they gave them to me now LOL

put a new set of tires on the vehicle you drive daily, without balancincing them, and learn what not having it will do. It applies everywhere just as it is important to have balanced internals in your motors. even poppellers and turbines are balanced. hell, anything that spins will bennifit from being "balanced"

I use to say POINTLESS to until Kody balanced a set of my truggy tires.. It was night and day. HUGE difference...... Not only did tires last longer, I had faster lap times AND I did not lose any bearings......

Balancing tires - Strongly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like seeing people fighting with suspension settings that have unbalanced tires. How could you possibly get your truck/car to handle the way you want with 4 tires that rock the crap out of the suspension? You can't get traction when your wheels aren't on the ground.

I agree with Token, I also used to think that it was just another gimmick until I tried balancing a set of my truggy tires. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I was actually amazed at how much better it handled and jumped. It was one of the most notable changes I've ever made. So for me, unbalanced = sucky performance!
