Questions?? good .21 for RC8 on tight 1/10 track?

I just picked up my fist buggy.... its and RC8 RTR with a few upgrades.

My local track is set up for 1/10th Short Course but a few guys run a buggy now and then. There is a much larger full size 1/8th scale track, about 2hrs away..... so most my use will be on the smaller track.

Since I am new to nitro, I am looking more for reliability and tuning ease then power.

Any recommendation on a good motor that would have low end power for the tight track and be good for a beginner?

Thanks

Plus I'm local Get that thing going.... we've got plans on getting 1/8 racing much bigger in utah next year, much

You must have bought Cory's RC8? The key to running at BS is to run a good clutch, the AE clutch is great, I ran 1.0 springs and alum shoes....

I raced my SC out in Neola and that finally had me commit to getting a nitro. Now a couple guys at Blacksheep have dusted off a buggy or two we may actually get a class again.

I really wanted a truggy, but decided I coudnt put up the $$$ for one right now. I could pick up a decent used buggy for less than half a truggy easy. So I figured try a buggy, and get the hang of it, then I may step up to a truggy later.

Thanks for the help Tony, I will have to wait on a new engine...just window shoppin' for now...I hope to pay Cody a visit on Mon. and see if he can shake the cobwebs off the nitro half of his brain. I may have to chat with Gus too....since he will be more likely have stuff in stock. I mainly need help to get it tuned then a good look over the clutch and brakes make sure nothing it out of wack.....since that all greek to me.
