has anybody ever sanded the bottom of there chassis to make it look new again?? i have a losi 2.0 buggy, came with the blue chassis, bottom looked really bad, so i took my sander and fine sand paper and sanded it, looks alot better. guess i could have bought a new tft chassis, but this was cheaper and only took 5 minutes.

I think that would just accelerate the wear. But i suppose it would look better.

I don't see the point and IMO is a worthless waste of time and sand paper. No one sees under your chassis unless you spend lots of time on your lid

they only have them for SCT 1/10th.... i looked because i thought it was something new, they wouldnt last one race with 1/8th buggy or truggy.

i ran the chassis protecter when i ran 1/10 electric mod trucks and they a pain because for one you have to cut a hole where the bolts go into the bulkhead and i just gets torn up a lot. on a sc truck they might last but i dont know.

you would have been better off painting it than sanding it if you just wanted it to look nice. The rest of us are trying to save our chassis not sand it more
