ive got a traxxas nitro rustler with starting troubles. ive done all the usall try this and that. ot has an ez start fitted to it and i dont think its turnin the engine over fast enough for it to start. would this causde the problem?? and if so could i fit a roto start or a pull start to it?? cheers

i would first try a differnt battery in your starter, may be starting to go bad.

I shoved a 3S lipo into the Ezstart wand for the old lady. no issues of voltage any more. the wand has a regulator in it so the motor and glow lighter see the correct voltage.

And yes, a rotostart can be fitted to that motor. IIRc, the sullivans Tiger Drive is made wih the Traxxas backplate mounting and I believe(don;t quote me) that duratraxx makes one for the traxxas as well.
