Reedy 121VR .21 Off-Road Competition Engine
 

I was thinking of getting a Reedy 121VR .21 Off-Road Competition Engine to run in my Rc8t I got the 2035 pipe and header has any one got any info befor I buy Thanks :tire::tire:

There is a whole thread on this buddy if you search it. All I can tell you is I've considered them too. I know the first gen were supposed to be tough to tune but thats been fixed I think. Only other thing I know is they like the heat. I pro racer told me he ran his at 260-270 for club racing and as high as 285 in big events.

There is a review and a break-in done on 1 at MyRCBox.com if you wanna check that out. The guy builds an RC8T CE and puts the Reedy in it for the review.

Just use the search feature and search reedy 121 VR and you should find it no problem. Good Luck!

That is the exact same setup I run. I had a jp2 pipe on it for a bit, didnt like it much. As soon as i switched to 2035 AE pipe, the motor just woke up like no other.

Do your self a favor and get a v-spec instead.
I was in a "try new engines" mode recently and always seam to look back at the v-spec.
