Hello i had an nitro rustler. I went to take it out yesterday and and started it up and revved it up and it shut off and smoke went up? I was thinking what the heck happened I tried to start but the ez start or the actually motor wasnt spinning.

DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT AND IF THE MOTOR IS BLOWN I WOULD LIKE TO BUY ONE SO IF U HAVE ONE LET ME KNOW IT IS FOR TRAXXAS NITRO RUSTLER TRX 2.5 THANKS

Can you turn the flywheel by hand? If not then the motor seized up. If you can then chances are the ez start motor is dead. I'm guessing its the ez start motor if you seen a puff of smoke. Chances are something got shorted out. If the ez start went then you can get a recoil starter for about $15, they are much more dependable vs an ez start, or just grab a new ez start motor. Try and take the ez start off the engine and see if it still works, if not then you know what to do.

We put a trx 3.3 in my girlfriends and she loves it, wheelies on comand and real fast, also a ton of fun to drive lol.

trx 3.3 has less power than dynamite .19 and bad thing is 3.3's dont last

yeah there engines arent any good but they make some killer bashers, I race 4x4 slash and ive won almost every race and the next day i bash it put it on the shelf and do it all over again. Only issue ive ever had with traxxas is 4x4 slash center bearing and hubs, with everything else is normall breaking due to crashing and BASHING
