Questions?? engine question

I'm new to nitro 1/8. I have Losi 8ight with Novarossi Plus 21-5 engine on it. When I plug plug heater and trying to start engine with starter box, sometimes my engine turns on, but when engine is turned on, engine keeps going in full throttle and shut off very quickly. Anyone know why this happens? Normally when I turned on engine on my 1/10 car, it fires up right away and throttle works. But in my boggy it just shut off when car reached to top speed.
If you know why it is, please help me.

Check to make sure your needle settings are not to leaned out. Check your throttle opening, Make sure it is only about .7mm open( about the thicknes of a credit card) when the throttle is fully closed. Ad of course make sure your servo trim is correct and the throttle is closing a it should. hope this helps
