That looks like it would last no longer than 30 minutes until it would break. But still cool

Just imagine taking video of your track while hovering 50 feet above it!
I am going to Brookstone today to get more info. I want to know range ( i'm not sure how far the I-phone can transmit) I want to know maximum altitude, I want to know if it only shoots video if wi-fi is enabled. For about $400 it better do everything they claim it to do and then some

Also make sure it can fly in the wind. The little heli that I bought back when we were at the nitro challenge works great inside but no go outside.

If you look and read they claim it has serious stabilizers so it can fly in the wind, although I am pretty sure the motor will not be powerful enough for you to fly against a strong headwind..I will definitely need a ton more info before I drop all that $$$ on this, but if its as bad-ass as they claim I hope to have one for the Byrons Race at the Nitro Pit end of September
How cool will it be to put up a U tube video of that race taken from above the track?

Just got off the phone with Brookstone. Here is what I found out

It works with any Iphone, I touch, or I pad
It has a maximum range including altitude of 300 feet
It 300 feet is exceeded it will automatically go into "safe land" mode and land itself safely.
If the 300 feet altitude is exceeded it will lower itself back into range and you can take over controls from there.
You do not need to be in an area that is wi-fi enabled. The drone works with your I phone anywhere as long as your phone has wi-fi on it.
It comes with one 3 cell Lipo and a charger. and has a run time of 13 minutes.
It is extremely stable in wind but I was told it is next to impossible to fly in heavy winds because the wind will blow it around just like with any flying aircraft.
extra rotors are sold at $6.95 each
Extra battery is $29.99
Extra fuselage is $20
If you buy the bundle kit you get one extra battery, one extra fuselage and an I phone case for $49.99
You can decide if you want your video to shoot from the front camera or the bottom camera and you can change back and forth in flight.
It has protective rings around the rotors for indoor flight and they are removed for outdoor flight.
The website in the link above has a download manual you can all see
