green shock slime on 1/8 shocks
what do you guys think of using this on 1/8 size o-rings ? ive always seen people only use it on 1/10th shocks .
whould they just swell up from the green slime ?

All o-rings love the slime, rub it on!

ok cool.

I'd have to disagree, especially if youre talking Losi shocks. They dont leak, and theres no reason to add a binding agent to the shock.

Use it if you want. Chad Bradley was and maybe still is using Pro-Circuit Seal O-ring grease. That is what he told me anyways.

I use AE GS or GMK Shock Snot, depending on what I have handy at the moment. IMO, these products aren't necessarily meant to prevent leaks in and of themselves. They're intent is, however, to prevent tearing of the seals, thereby preventing leaks. All in all, if you at the very least lube the o-ring with shock oil, you'll have a better chance at getting the shaft threads through it w/o tearing them. Never penetrate dry!

yes they are losi eight shocks, and the white o-rings im going to use the green slime on the new shock o-rings.
plus to me it seems like there, is less dirt buildup on the o-rings thats at least what i saw on my 1/10 shocks.

I assure you, no one on the Losi team uses green slime on their o-rings. Just coat them in shock oil and be done with it.
