engine starts then stalls

finally got my new engine running but as soon as i get it started it cuts followed by a 1 or 2 loud clicking sound. what is this:confused:

Sounds like it might be too rich on the bottom, the glow plug is bad or the idle is too low. No clue what the clicking could be be. Don't even know what car you've got.

well, the clicking could be pinch in sleeve to tight, or if it has a pullstart or roto start it could also be them, if stalls fast sounds like low end needle to rich or idle screw not set right, also make sure head bolts are tight and plug is tight

if its a pull start 95% of the time that clicking sound is the pullstart.
