ah, found the text..a bit different from what I tought remembering..

"... After the Losi pics were leaked, I had a serious discussion with myself, which unfortunately could not be solved by negotiations, but ended violently with some punches to the face, for stupidity.
There were a number of things that I already had in my design, or in my head, that were also on the Losi, including the XX-4 front end design, steering system (except the way to adjust Ackermann) and the separate battery and receiver box style radiotray, and this was a bit disappointing as I wouldn’t have the first new generation car including these things, but it was no big deal. However, there were also a couple of features on the Losi that solved some of the problems with my design brilliantly. The problem was, that they were so simple that I was embarrassed. I mean why didn’t I think of turning the diff around and flipping the teeth to the other side of the gear, in order to get the engine much closer to the centreline? "

Bit misleading that, Joseph won the Finnish champs using THE Car, Max was running the car, but didnt place in the final.

I had the opportunity to drive The Car prototype on the Nitrocross as well. Even though the surface was turf which we don't run here the track did give a nice feedback of the car. I'd say the car when finished will definitely be a hot one. It has a lot of solutions aiming for pure performance and serviceabilty that can't be seen on the pics. Also it's definitely not a LOSI copy. I currently drive LOSI 2.0 and if you compare the cars the JQ one accelerates better thus has more forward grip, turns more and jumps pretty much as well as LOSI. It has different feeling though, it's very light and nimble and as said it's still going through the final steps so the things seen on the pics does not reflect to the final design 1:1.

Quite impressive! I love the black on black styling. The rear arm/hinge pin/hub setup is different. I like it.

Any idea on price idea here in the states?

Yes it should be out before Christmas, I set 1st of December as the release date.
It has a clunk like the airplanes, and HB and Losi.

So the center diff can be moved fore/aft as well as traditional mesh setting procedure with the engine only side to side?

Rx up front? Liking this!!!
