Default X Ray 808 guys I need help asap!

Im ordering a 2011 spec 808 and had a question first.
Is there anything I need immediatelly upgrade wise? I know the 808 is pretty bullet proof but there has to be something! Or things that are a must for spares?
Im itching to hit that order button but I will wait to get dome answers from you guys first. Its killin me though!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks

The Xray thread has all this info, but I would say front arms, not that they break, but I have seen some of mine warp after a long long long, did i say long while, sand down the front shocktower edges and run some superglue around it, maybe the 3 hole aluminum ackerman, just for a little more adjustability. Other than that, there is nothing else needed honestly. I would buy some driveshaft pins, and invest in the driveshaft pin replacement tool and maybe some differential gaskets for the heck of it.

The 11 Spec needs no upgrades, it is extremely capable right out of the box.. As far as spare parts go, front & rear suspension arms are always good insurance on any rig.

I would invest in a some different spring sets to give yourself some tuning options.

You might also want to purchase these

Good luck and enjoy the new ride....It's truly an excellent buggy.

Nothing! The car is solid right out of the box. An extra set of arms wouldn't hurt. The kit is highly adjustable. Buy it, build it, run it and then you can have an idea as to what spare and option parts you may need.

Thanks guys, exactly what I was looking for. I know I should have gone through the 808 thread, which I will do when I get a chance. I appreciate the quick answers though! Im going to order a set of arms, some springs, and maybe the drive pins as well to start. I think Stormer has the best deal on the 11 spec 808 ive seen so far, $550 I believe unless someone knows of a better deal? Ampdraw has them for $540 but id have to pay CA sales tax.
Thanks again

I dont know what your friend is talking about. All buggies need bearings, probably just as much as any other buggies, probably less.

2010 diff's if you don't run the kingheadz extended engine mount. I have the 2010 and replaced all the bearings once in 7 gallons. I use advids and have cleaned, but yet to replace. about every gallon and 1/2 I clean the diff. bearings. Clutch bearings I check after every race day.
