What servo goes where? (jr9100S and T)
I have an 1/8th scale truggy, losi 8T, I purchaced a jr z9100s and a z9100t thinking the s was for steering and t was for throttle. Ok so i found out the s is for speed and the t is for torque. Where should I put the s and the t? Steering or throttle/brakes. I'm not afraid of being stupid so some help would be appreciated. By the way the servos were on sale at hobby town USA in Colorado for $114 each! Cheapest i have found them anywhere even online.

Speed for throttle and torque for steering. Fuuny how the labeling causes that confusion.

9100"T" (torque) for steering and the 9100"S" (speed) for your throttle.

I also run these servos and love them. I run the S on steering and the T on throttle. They are both really fast but in my truggy i love fast steering and like haveing the extra torque on the throttle to hold the brakes even tighter. The work well either way.

The 180 oz of the s is a little weak for steering in a truggy. I run my S on throttle, T on Steering. The T is plenty fast enough for the steering, and the speed of the s on throttle gives really exellent throttle response.

If you mount the s on steering you will strip gears. It is to fast for steering

yep, "S"peed on throttle and "T"orque on steering. Also, if you run a lipo rx pack make sure you run a regulator with the JR servos, they do not like the voltage level of the lipo......talking from experience of course......
