Looks like the local Vegas tracks are really stepping up this year.

Cheers for another good track in the Las Vegas area, this will make it much easier for us to make our way to the big shows. Keeping us well practiced and such.

Thank you for the hard work and effort, hopefully you will get a good number of entries to support your work.

Anyone put a buggy or truggy or the track this weekend? How was it? Any idea of what an average lap time will be?

I’m looking forward to next weekend. I love racing on a new track for the first time. Hopefully there will be a good turnout.

Since the final touches are being done this week, it will be ready for saturday. We just have to finish compacting a few jumps, layout all of the pipe, and get the loop in. Also have to finish the pit shelf, screw down all of the wood on the drivers stand. Its the little things.

I know the track is getting lots of water everyday. Saturday the track opens at 9am with racing an hour scheduled an hour later. BUT with the drivers meeting, it will probably be a little later. We have been getting a bunch of people saying they are coming, since by moving a pipe, we can make the track 10th scale friendly. So 10 nitro and electric classes will be open along with 8th buggy and truggy, and monster.

On that note, i am running 10th gas truck, and 8th buggy. Not sure about truggy yet. Depends on the turnout.

Here are a few photos that I took yesterday. I would have stuck around longer, but I had to get ready to take photos that night for a Halloween Party--I posted one example "temporarily" at S-Grid. I'll probably add more photos to the Las Vegas thread at RCU later (but probably not until after SEMA (starts Tuesday) and the Jet Fly in which is next Saturday).

Sin City Crew:

Kyle had a really good time on Saturday. He was super pumped about the track's surface. He thought the dirt was some of the best he's ever driven on. I think you guys have a winning combo. I know how hard you guys worked and let me tell you...it is appreciated by all of us! See you guys in a couple weeks!
