Just wanted to thank everyone that took time and posted. I did find out what r/c this truck is, and it wouldn't be if not for RcTech.

Under the realization that this thing was probably a Chinese knock-off, from you guys , I happened to google something like old Chinese nitro r/c's. Saw a picture of a HSP racing buggy that I thought looked close (turns out it wasn't). Searching for info on HSP, I happened to find a thread here on RcTech that gave me a link to "Plaig RC Hobbies" forum, which is basically an Australian HSP forum. I signed up and posted in there. Turns out it's not a HSP, but in a few hours I had my answer...

It's a Sinyih models.

There obviously is little info out there is to wth a "Sinyih model" is, and their own website is of course, very limited. It was certainly one of my tougher challenges in the world of r/c, but really glad I found out.

Now the question is what to do? I know a couple machinists, and custom engine mounts (the only part I need) would be about $25...

At least you now know what it is !

I did look that hard but it didn`t look like they sell parts for it . Only thing I`d be worried about is if you spend the $ to get an engine mount made and something breaks , your screwed .
