The ninja is a great engine! It is a pretty smooth engine as it is. The speed is just a bit smoother(see tungsten weighted crank). They both make a ton of power and get great fuel mileage. I can run 14 minutes with my speed in truggy. That's on a medium sized outdoor track with 9mm carb restrictor, OS 2060 pipe and a legal 150CC truggy tank of Odonnell 20% race fuel. It's fun not having to worry about pitting at 10 minutes.

Anyway, both engines are awesome! I enjoy running both of them!

Probably wouldn't happen. LOL. Hell, I'd be happy if I could run at the pit. I wouldn't care about fuel mileage I would be having so much fun.

Anyway I have pitted at 10 minutes on some very large tracks. Probably nothing as big as the pit though.

the pit does look like one of the best tracks i have ever seen. Actually the best would be one i saw in kuwait in a thread not long ago. I would travel there just to run on that thing. Man that track looks bad A$$

You also have to realize that races arent won on the straight. With the smoother power band it helps on the inside a lot. Thats where you will see the most gain.

No typo and not missing anything thanks. Fuel mileage means more to me than a little extra rip.

Fuel mileage as in per tank? Or engine life?

i don't see that much of a difference between 20 and 30% except the price.

My engines run a hell of a lot cooler and stronger running 30%. But hey, that could just be me.

20% gets better run time then 30%. One could argue more engine life but people will chime in after me and say "30% runs cooler, because it has less oil" but if your off an hr or two using 20% your safer then 30%. 20% provides more of a user error buffer that could extend useful life by saving the engine from user error.

I dont see how that makes sense. Rather have the power, i always pit at 19 minutes with at least 2 minutes to spare

any engine company or "modder" can make an engine that has aloooootttt of power but to me its all about USEABLE POWER

i think the speed is a great engine fershur , 500$ dollars great? hmmmmm that is a hard one i guess if i did all the dlc/silicone filled crank and all that good stuff to nova cranks it would cost me a little but 500$ , man i am not sure on the price point . i really want to get the dlc nova cranks done its not easy though!!!!

The 20% fuel I run has no more oil than 30% fuel does. Odonnell 20% fuel is very potent for a 20% fuel. It has somewhere between 10 and 12% oil. It makes tons of power, runs cool and gets outstanding run time/fuel mileage. Not to mention that it is much cheaper(just a side benefit IMO) and possibly extends engine life. I agree with you about tuning also. 20% isn't as tune sensitive.
