Default Grease?

This may belong in the monster truck section but it has relavence here too.

My question is what kind of grease I should put on my diff housing on the ringgear of my savage diff to lube the ringgear and the pinion/ input gear from the driveshaft?

I had some synthetic of some sort in there and it did the job of lubrication but it contaminated like crazy compared to the green stuff that came on it from hpi.And it didn't stay stuck to the diff housing like the factory stuff and instead got shot right out of the inclosed house that the diff assembly is in.

Any suggestions on what to use?

And no I'm not talking about the silicone oil you but INSIDE the diff to ajust tension like a ball diff.
