What about the "newest" design Maifield and the team has been testing ( they ran it at neo) with it giving them more droop? What about that setup? Did this one work better or is this it?

I think this is built into the shock tower. Instead of using longer eyelits they made the shock tower shorter to extend the droop.

There is a front and rear outdrive now. It looks like the front is longer than the rear. I thought the problem with the RC8 was bending of the front drive shafts because the front outdrives were too long. Should the front outdrives be shorter than the rears?

It's the other way around. The new front outdrives are the same length as the original ones, and the rear outdrives are now shorter.

I believe they are asking because some people bend the front drive shafts.

Yes. Or use the shorter ones on the front.

Maybe with the new suspension parts this isn't even a issue.

Am I crazy, or are there less holes for the radio tray in the new chassis?

Looks to be one less hole for the radio tray. I count 6 instead of the orginal 7

It looks like they're all there, comparing to the 89000 chassis.

The 2 diagonal holes below the throttle/brake servo, and the other hole in the back corner, plus the servo holes.

One thing, as someone else had mentioned was the side 'rock guard plates'. The other chassis' have 3 holes on the side angle of the chassis, this new one has 2 holes though.

I wonder if we will see new 'rock guard plates' to utilize the chamfer or angled trailing edge of the chassis.
