tow adjustment on 1/8 buggy

What do you guys use to adjust your tow on buggies? Or do you just eye-ball it? I have a camber gauge, ride height gauge, and a digital caliper for droop, but nothing for tow, just my eyes.

what do you guys do?

This would be toe. I would say just get a toe in/out gauge. The more accurate you are with your car the better its gonna handle.

I use a hudy station but there is a cheeper way. Get a piece of 1x2 and cut it long enough to extend past the front wheels slide it under the car and tight against the backside of the front wheels than you can use your camber gauge by laying it down and putting the base of the camber gauge against the wood and measure that way but keep in mind you will have to go back and forth with toe and camber as these two adjustments effect each other till you get it right also keep your electronics on while doing it. Hope this helps.

I get what you are saying, but you mean cutting the wood longer than the front wheels width wise right? Not from front to back

I take mine on the kitchen counter put it against the back and use the camber gauge seems to work well for me

yes about 6" longer on both sides so you can rest the gauge on it
