Engine Wont start
Hey, I just got this nitro truck in a trade. I have not sent off my truck yet, because i want to make sure the truck he sent me runs. But i cant get it to start up...
I am not sure if the glow plug is bad. But when i put the glow plug igintor in the motor the motor does get warm. I am not sure if it not starting cause the glow plug..
But it wont start up for nothing. What are some advice/tips i should do to get it started? Because im really about to send him his truck back because it wont fire up

1)Make sure your ignitor is charged up.
2) Take the glow plug out go the motor and put it in the ignitor and make sure it glows.
3)when the glwo plug is out, turn the motor over a few times in case it has been flooded.
4) Make sure the fuel you have is not old.
5) Prime the motor a little by turning it over and putting your finger over the exhuast untill you see the fuel in the line reach the carb.

I did the prime thing and i seen gas in the line
The glow plug ignitor is fully charged..
I will do the other thing to make sure the engine is not flooded..
But when i remove the glow plug and put it in the ignitor i seen alittle red glow on the plug. Not sure how bright it suppose to be though. And i also notice that the engine got warm when i had the ignitor on the glow plug.
So im not sure if the glow plug is the problem.

I agree check to see if its flooded ... and if you have a new Glowplug i would try it .. Mine glows pretty bright..

I got a new glow plug for it. I put it in and i put my finger on the stinger to prime it. And still no luck. I even removed the motor and made sure i got all the fuel out. I just cant get it to fire up for nothing. It has a fresh glow plug but wont fire up.

Are you sure your piston goes up and down when turning the engine over? If it doesn't something in the engine might be broken (You should be able to hear the piston going up and down when turning the engine over)
