Tech Regular
We have a local guy that has a Version 1 Speed with 18 Gallons on it with no changes to any of the internals what so ever (except bearings maybe.. but I'm sure he said nothing has been changed I can verify next time I see him). Even had a run away that I caught and popped a plug before I could cut it off. We let it cool off and started it right back up with a new plug.
I love my Speed and VSpec w/ Speed Crank and Rod.
My VSpec is at 6 gallons with great compression, and I have changed bearings and rod when I upgraded the crank @ 4 gallons.. Only did the bearings and rod because of ceramics and rod that goes with the crank. The stockers were still in excellent shape and sold them to a friend cheap for his VSpec rebuild and its still going.
My Speed has 4 gallons on it and is amazing. No issues and outsanding compression.
