Default werks b6 vs nova p5xlt

trying to decide between the 2. Have owned a p-5 and loved it. Price is a little more than the werks. Werks gets 10 to a tank. Not sure which one has the better bottom but werks seems to be very smooth. The only issue for me against the werks is the cost of their pipes. Can get an 086 for the nova cheaper. Help me out guys i am going nuts!!

the only reason the pipe for the werks would be more expensive is because you are purchasing the original pipe, not a copy of it. if you were to price out both engines with there factory recommended pipes the werks will be less expensive.I would recommend getting the b6 and the 2057 if you are looking for smooth bottom and good economy

Either one will rip. The Werks is a better deal.

I prefer the powerband of the werks. Although my opinion is based on racing the B5 and not the B6. I like a lot of bottom. My friends know

Well, looks like you're the only one going p5xlt here. Werks rips and Ron will say so as well. Plus, its a better deal. I'm going Werks.

very favorable test of the B6 in this month's RC CAR mag...they already did a test of the B5 and liked it, as well....

the B5 is a better deal... either one you will be happy with.. the only reason i would say the B5 is because its cheaper... but you are correct.. you can get the ofna 086 and use whatever header you want with it... with the werks pipe you have to use there manifold because of the 4 spring design.. sort of limiting header tuning... and so on...

i've seen the P5xlt run along side the B5 and none is faster than the other and they both pit at the same time and tehy are both of equal caliber drivers.. pretty goo that is always in the Amain..... like i said tunable header on the pipe is the only down side with the werks pipe... i personally like the

again either one you will be fine with...

Take a guess what I vote for

All I can say is I have seen a few racers in my area switch from werks to novarossi engines , one of the drivers was getting the werks engines at team price also

They are both great , both italian , different factories though

Both good choices , its really up to you
