Default T-Bone Racing Skid Plates

Not sure if there was a thread on this but wanted to share some results on these long lasting skid plates. A fellow racer turned me on to these.

When I bought our Mugens I put these skid plates on day one. I have just over 2 gallons on these with Zero chassis wear and they are still going strong. I would say I have at least another gallon before they need to be replaced.

As you can see they cover a good amount of the chassis. They are also beveled so that dirt will not get trapped into the crevices.

So far I am really liking these. Good price as well.

My DE skid plates work just as good for half the price. Have never broken one either

I cant see how you can still jump even and come off a jump right with those things...even the d.e. skids which are way smaller get caught up..i can only imagine those...no skids for me...

I have a set of these on my truggy and they work fantastic. Not sure why someone would have have issues with them hanging up. If your skid plates are hanging up, I think you have bigger issues.

I love my T-Bone skid. I've had 1 set for the past MONTHS. I used to have to replace the DE's regularly when I ran them. Not the T-Bone!

stay off the pipes.

the only time my de skids get hung up is if they catch a stake head and rip off

I wish someone would make a skid that covers the whole chassis, from front to rear....

Great company and good owner, but I didnt have good luck with them, and after sending a bunch back in for breakage (they do certainly stand behind their product NO doubt) I decided not to carry them anymore, as every set I sold the front bumper plate cracked when someone lawn darted, and a few back ones cracked as well.
Perhaps the material has changed now for the better?
I stick with D&E

i get about 2 or so gallons out of my DE racing skids. i broke the front t-bone skids the first time i endoed a little, it wasnt even that hard of a hit. also the rear does get dirt between chassis and the skids and they hung on a landing and ripped and pulled one of my screws out of the diff cases.

Breaking parts is rarely about the part itself but rather about the user.

Im glad your liking them dishsoap...ive been tempted to try the front skids to protect the Carbon chassis front kick as the DE's dont go back far enough.
