Default AVID Brakes

I have a couple pairs of the AVID brakes for my RC8. Anyone running these and what are your results and experience with them?

Thanks

I've been running avid brakes for mugen and xray for years and they are the best I've tried, rarely fade, very lite and last for ever. The only other brakes I would compare are the craddock's high temps but those are hard to find now.

You made a good choice.

Thanks guys. I am heading to AMS this weekend and it is not the type of race to do any testing. I have been wanting to run them, since you guys like them, I will put em on.

Thanks

todd they are killer ..the only better brakes out there are the new black losi brakes ...and well you run an associated ...i ran they avids for 3 years ,,they are made of the same material that a good pool-cue ferrule is made of ..they are about 3mm thick when they drop to about 2-2.25 mm just replace em ...good thing is no pads ...just metal on ,material ....to service them just scuff them with scotch brite ...looking forward to seeing you there ....
