Start that buggy
My buggy pullstart has broken twice and I lost the handle, and I want some thing easier. I was looking at the OFNA Mutilator and it has an auto start, but I cant find a conversion (I run a Force .28). has anybody done this or have another cheap starter, like a shaft start or a GOOD pullstart. I already have to buy a new steeringg servo so I dont have any chance to spend unneccesarily

take off the pull start, put a backplate and use a starter box.

The Mutilator will break the front steering knuckles within the first tank.

Whats an affordable starter box. My dads gonna kill me when I tell him I need a new starter and servo, since heŽll end up paying for it

I think I figured out what Ill do. A Hitec 645MG servo and OFNA Torque Start. Any extreme failure warnings about either of these?

what backplate did you use? Im gonna buy the OFNA universal adapter and buy the starter wand 4 my cordless drill. whats a good servo?

Would a Hitec 5645 cut it for steering? Im trying to keep it as affordable as possible

Here's you a decent budget servo for steering ... it is faster than the HiTec and about the same torque:
