Default how does everyone like their Slayers?

Just made a trade on an electric converted Slayer... wondering how well people like the overall frame of the truck

My buddy has 2 slayers and he seems to like them, but I wouldn't buy one, they roll easy and just don't seem to be much fun to me. He bashes his stuff very hard and breaks his savage all the time Nd his slayers hold up very well to 25ft up in the air jumps Nd are extremely fast just with a 3.3

I bought the 3.3 Slayer when it first came out thinking it would be the best truck ever. I broke it in and went to the track where I broke it 4 times the first night and I'm not THAT bad of a driver. They're garbage IMO.

But I did like the look so I bought an E Revo and put Slayer arms, rids, and driveshafts on it with 17mm truggy dish wheels and it was awesome.

Maybe just get the 3.3 nitro chassis or the Vantage extended CF version and it will help.

The E Revo I believe is the same length as a 3.3 but the Slayer is a 2.5 chassis so I am guessing it will fit but you will probably need to drill different holes.

May want to try and trade back and put the Slayer parts on the E Revo chassis. Or just buy the E Revo chassis and swap everything over from the nitro truck.

I think short course electric is fun but nitro short course seem no fun whatsover. I tried the sc8 and the slash and the sc8 had no control off jumps, it jumps straight into an endo and flips lol it was also really loose. I like how it felt on tite small tracks with little singles but in normal tracks it was brutal getting threw jumps clean. The electric sc is where it's at tho I drove the 4x4 slash and the ae electric sc and I can't say anything bad, they both jump good and r a blast to drive and I love how they roll until it back on ur wheels u never have to go down n flip ur car over haha.

Hmm. I want to stick with the nitro chassis so I don't have to limit my choices of batteries. Thanks for the replies.

And just so you know the revo and slayer suspension IS different they are not the same. The chassis are the same but to convert a slayer to a revo you will need all the revo suspension and the 3.3 slayer tranny is geared much more different than the 3.3 revo.
