Default 8t 2.0 Servo spacer question

Im running a losi 8t 2.0 with jr 9100 s and t servos. The book dosnt make a lot of sense. One line it says to use the quarter inch spacers and then in the box it says NO. So my question is do you guys use the spacers or not? Thanks......

Oh yea they can. On some motors you cant get a good horn alighnment because they sit up higher. Carb binds and sooner or later it will take out your 100.00 plus servo.
