Default Nitro Buggy Help

I need help with my nitro buggy. I can get it fired up, but it tends to die easily right after it starts. Also, it kindof bogs down on the top end and doesn't seem to run as fast as it should.

What should I do? I'm guessing tune but I'm new to that sooo please explain

Also, a side note, a few times I have run it, the motor will be warm (I can hold my hand on the engine head a few seconds before it gets hot) but there will be smoke coming out of the engine head. I'm guessing thats not good?

First of all read the tuning bible thread at the top of the forum for everything you need to know about tuning. Now is it a bog like a gurgling type sound or does it seem to just run out of fuel on the top end? And your engine wont be running properly if its not up to temp which is over 200 so you cant hold your hand against a properly warmed up engine.

Sounds like your too rich on the low speed needle, causing the engine to flood. And too lean on the high speed causing the engine to bog.
