Default Get runtime playing with fuel tubing

Hi guys,

I m seeing how i can get more runtime playing with the fuel tubing, gas exhaust cooler and second fuel filter...

Of course, i want to be rc pro legal.

So anyone have experience with the novarossi gas exhaust cooler + O'donnel fuel filter ?

(i have an 8ight so i have another fuel filter in the tank)

Thanks

no need just run the normal fuel line set up. the Fuel cooler dont work all the great, people look at drake and want it, but you have to realize that his engine is modded for fuel economy. And I have never had any luck running a fuel filter. Not to be a prick, but are you that good of a driver that you are losing races because of fuel?

i would'nt run a second fuel filter, ive never had good luck with filters, they always cause problems (atleast for me) the best way to get better fuel econ. is to just add fuel line, more line=holds more fuel.

I run that NovaRossi Gas cooler and filter your runtime are more constant and a little better run time. Now you ask youself is it worth the money yes. I did so testing with the gas cooler and yeah it does help a good amount

I have run the nova cooler and it did not make a noticeable difference in run time. I was tricky to tune and every temp change outside effected it, until one of the local AE guys, just pulled it off and said thats really not needed. I will not say its a joke, Nova is a good company that makes quality stuff, I dont think they would put something on the market just to make money....And I dont think Drake would run if it was a joke either. I use to run a plus 4 and pitted at 10 on the nose and that was running at a decent temp... Im not a super pro so I run my engines on the rich side of things, I need it to last..

The way I look at it is, the more things you put in the way of fuel, to more things you have to worry about going wrong..
