I cant get the fuel to feed into the carburetor when bump starting. I put my finger over the pipe and it still wont feed.

Is the problem in the tank or lines or could it be in the engine as well.

Take the line loose from the pipe and blow thru it til fuel reaches the carb

replace the lines, replace the gaskets, make sure the head is on tight, make sure the carb is sealed and no air is getting in.

That was my next step. I am going to check for air leaks on everything.

Most common is fuel cap seal, next is fuel lines. You may have a plugged tank stone, but you'd have lean issues as well...

I always pull off the pipe hose and blow through to prime anyway. Excessive spinning over cold will wear the engine a little faster.

I had the same problem when I got my new V spec. No matter what I did or checked it would not prime. I sent it out and after the case was flux tested it turned out that it was cracked! Yup right out of the box. Cracked case. I had to buy a new case. I hope your problem is not as severe. I would think the first thing you should check is your front bearing. That's usually where severe air leaks come from

A little while ago a friend had the same problem with a brand new rtr.. Turned out the nipple on the tuned pipe where the pressure hose conects was blocked... Worth a look

Ws7 II world I got the front bearing out and there is a small tit by the carb inlet on the flat section where the bearing seats. I imagine that this could be causing the problem. (factory defect) can I dremel this off?

I cant see anything odd in that pic .. Or am i going blind?
