IMO fuel filters can only cause problems. It has a stone filter in the tank(the clunk). An inline filter is not needed. If you want the extra tank capacity just remove the block that's screwed into the bottom of the tank.

If the block is remove, what's capacity would the tank be ?

Will it exceed 125 cc ? or stay within the rules

I believe the tank capacity is 123cc with the block in, 125cc once you remove it.

I always leave the block in I thought that was the only way to be legal at large events, but I guess I am wrong. I did purchase an actual graduated cylinder so Ill have to test it out.

The block should only be used if you are running an inline fuel filter or an excessive amount of fuel tubing. Out of the box(stock length fuel line) you don't need the block to be legal in either buggy or truggy. If you're running with the block in and no extra line or filters, you are running under capacity. Even with the block out I am usually a bit under maximum(probably because I shortened the line a bit)

Being teched last summer in RC pro events and ROAR. Everyone who took the block out or stone, DID NOT PASS TECH. They were over the 125 and 150 oz. I was one of those people.

Me and my bro do not have the blocks in both buggy and truggy. We always pass tech with about 2-3cc left.

Weird. I have passed tech every time without the blocks in.

I know a bunch of people who run w/o the block and pass tech every single time. That's actually the first time I have ever heard of someone not passing tech w/o the block.

Keep in mind I go straight from the tank to fuel nipple. I've found that crazy fuel line routing can only cause problems.

Yep that's news for me too. Same here about the fuel line also. I have never seen anyone have issues without the block it.

I have to learn to read slower. People were taking both the stone and block out?
