Anyone know if he's just racing Truggy for fun, or is done racing Monster Trucks, since the class is nearly dead? Either way, hope the best for him. Nice guy, and good driver!

I've watched him bring a Revo to the local track, run it in the Truggy class, and win. (That's not saying anything negative about either the Mugen OR the Revo... just that his skills are that stellar!)
I'm sure he was just out playing... and since Traxxas doesn't have a Truggy, well... he has to drive SOMETHING if he wants to play, right?

Yes he still works for Traxxas. He was just driving for the fun of it.

Is he the guy that had the slash 4x4 converted to a buggy? That thing was wicked and ridiculously light!

Until Traxxas puts out a competition buggy or truggy I wouldn't be surprised to see him run another brand. Maybe it was a prototype with a Mugen Shell...lol.
I know it would be interesting to see Traxxas put out a truggy with a laydown shock set-up. Also, buggy for that matter too, an instant game changer...lol.

Of course it is too light to be "legal." Too bad... it's pretty cool, and would allow an inexpensive entry point for electric 1/8 scale.
It ALSO shows just how capable the Slash 4x4 chassis is!

I wouldnt say it's "capable" as so much as it has "potential" :-)

Yeah... "TCWW" (Trash Can With Wheels.) Meaning he (and Mike Battaile too!) can go kick butt with anything.

Traxxas is scared to drop a 1/8 competition level RC.

I heard he is running mugen, and yes still works for traxxas. Just because he works for Traxxas dont mean he cant run another product, especially one that do not compete with traxxas.
