I live in southern ohio and would like to start racing. I'm not sure what I need or where to begin. What is the most popular at this track? What is the easiest to start with? Is this a ROAR event?
Thanks,

hey levi,
at sunrise the most popular thing that races there are the buggys. theres a ton of them. quite a bit of truggys but mostly buggys. i saw your post on sunrise's forums about the monster truck. if you wanna come out and have fun with your mgt you'll be fine in the MT class. not everyone drives incredible in that class anyways. theres only 2 that are pretty fast. the losi that won this weekend and me and my revo. but you'll be fine with it. but if your going to get into racing pretty heavy i would suggest getting a buggy. its the most popular thing racing out there. but come on out and race with us. we all have a blast.

Some one offered me an OFNA ultra LX pro RTR, it has a lrp z .28r, can I compete with that? I'm not looking to win or anything just gain experience. I know that buggy is not the greatest but I thought I would ask. It's only 150. Could I start with that or is it totally non raceable? I will prob show up sunday to watch. My MGT is still not here yet.

yea you could do decent with it. for only 150 bucks give it a shot to see if you actually like racing the 1/8 buggy class. and then later down the road you can upgrade to a better buggy! i hope i can make it sunday. sunday is the state race so there is going to be a lot of people ther probly. im hopeing i can make it though. we'll have to meet up.

Well I guess I'll get the ofna then. I think I'm going to go sunday to watch. I have never been to a race so it will be cool to learn how everything goes down. If your going to be their give me a call saturday night or sunday morning. 740-649-9289. I'm sure I'll have alot of questions lol. It is going to cost any thing to watch?
